General Rules

  1. All riders must wear protective gear. At a minimum all riders must wear a helmet, goggles, pants, and protective boots. Gloves are recommended. Riders not meeting the safety criteria will be asked to leave.

  2. Everyone must examine the facilities prior to riding or spectating. If you feel that the track or facility areas are unsafe please notify a track representative and exit the premises. Remember you are riding and spectating at your own risk!

  3. No doubling if a rider is down near an obstacle, or pulled off near an obstacle. Be courteous to other riders and keep safety in mind.

  4. First gear riding in all areas outside of the designated track.

  5. No rider shall operate the starting gate.

  6. No riding in the wrong direction on the track into oncoming riders. No cutting the track or free riding. No riding out of bounds off of the track.

  7. Please do not litter, take care of your trash. Please do not dump oil or gasoline anywhere on the property.

  8. No rider shall be permitted to drink alcohol or use illegal substances on track property. Anyone caught violating this rule while riding will be banned from the premises.

  9. No fireworks are permitted on the property.

  10. Ride at your level; do not attempt any obstacle that you do not feel comfortable jumping. Remember you are riding at your own risk.

  11. Disorderly conduct of any type will not be tolerated and may lead to removal from the property.

  12. No unauthorized personnel on the track at any time. Spectators must stay off the track.

  13. Dogs must be on a leash.

  14. Anyone caught destroying property owned or maintained by MX 213 or the Belmont County Agricultural Society will be arrested and prosecuted to the

MX 213 is owned and operated by the Belmont County Agricultural Society with assistance from local sponsors. The society and our sponsors are not responsible for accidents, loss, or thefts. Each individual participating will be required to sign a waiver. In addition any activities held for motocross during the course of the Belmont County Fair will also be required to follow the additional rules of the official fair publication.

Race Rules

We recognize the AMA race rules.

  1. All riders are responsible for their own medical insurance.

  2. People transported by ambulance will be responsible for their own bill.

  3. Unsportsmanlike conduct of riders will not be tolerated.

  4. Those riding in a reckless manner will be asked to leave.

  5. Riders are to use 1st gear to and from the track.

  6. No road riding.

  7. No pit racing.

  8. A helmet must be worn at all times.

  9. Safety gear is mandatory when practicing or racing.

  10. Tether kill switches are required on all quads.

  11. Front and rear number plates with at least 6” high numbers are required on all quads. Front and side numbers are required on all bikes. If numbers are not visible from the front or back, the rider will not be scored.
